They attach directly to the Stand and rotate 360 degrees to access the back of your canvas without having to loosen any knobs or levers and holds its position without using handles. There are three sizes of Scroll Frame Holders to choose from (listed below). The arms of the Scroll Frame Holder slide in and out to accommodate the size of the canvas requirements. The size ranges listed below show the smallest size up to the largest that the Scroll Frame adjusts to. Each Scroll Frame Holder comes with a set of Roller Bars that have a strip of twill for attaching the canvas onto. The Scroll Frame Holder also includes a set of metal Side Bars that hold the Roller Bars. The Side Bars hold the Roller Bars 11” apart, and that is the size of the work area.

I added the scroll frame to my Travel Mate and Q-Snap holder. It is perfect for working on a longer piece as my Q-Snap just wasn’t working. I first purchased the System 4 as it had been getting more difficult to hold a hoop or Q-Snap even with a wrist support pillow and still do my stitching. The System 4 allows me to stitch two-handed which is much easier on the hands and wrist. The stand and accessories are very well made and well worth the money in my opinion.
My experience with Needlework System 4 is that the products are well engineered, using materials of excellent quality, and smartly adaptable to many embroidery needs and styles. Besides that, the customer service is superb, a rare commodity nowadays. Five starts would not be enough!
I have several Needlework System 4 pieces that I use when stitching. I recently ordered the scroll frame to work on a long horizontal piece. I have always been very pleased with this product. Needlework System 4 is an extremely well-made product that will last a lifetime.
